This weekend February 23-26, is the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival in Hampton Va. – It’ll be fun to see the latest in quilts, patterns and quilting supplies. I’m also hoping to find some new and exciting fabrics. This is a good way to find new ideas and to see how everyone else is piecing, and of course to be able to talk about fabrics and quilts. My husband and dogs are coming with me, we’re renting a cabin on the river for the weekend. He actually enjoys going to quilt shows with me- I think this year we have plans to attend 8 of them. So this will be a little more than just going to the quilt show, but it should fun and I am looking so forward to it.
